Mix two teaspoons of hydrogen peroxide with one spoon of baking soda. Make a paste and use it to brush your teeth. You can add peppermint oil, it will act as a breath freshener. Allow the paste to remain on the teeth for a minute or two and then rinse it thoroughly using water. Do this not more than thrice a week.
2. Charcoal toothpaste
Add 2 spoons of activated charcoal, 3 spoons of calcium carbonate, and 1 spoon of food-grade bentonite clay, to a small bowl. To this add two and a half spoons xylitol. Mix nicely and add water to make a paste. Add virgin coconut oil to this and store.
You can use this paste daily to brush your teeth. After brushing, let the paste remain for 10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly. Take care to make the paste smooth to prevent the charcoal from abrading enamel on the teeth and damaging it.
3. Apple cider vinegar
Mix two spoons of apple cider vinegar with one spoon of baking soda. Make a paste and brush. Allow the paste to remain for a couple of minutes before rinsing thoroughly. You can even directly use apple cider vinegar as a mouthwash as a part of your daily dental care routine.
